I'm Omess: an engineer by day, a tinkerer by night, and curious about most things computer-related, gaming, and photography the rest of the time. Børilden Studio is my first real web project, a place to share photos, side projects, homelab notes, and the occasional ramble while I vibe-code my way through HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and now Astro. Computer stuff!
I've started to dabble in self-hosted services, using Docker to deploy things like Immich and Caddy to reverse proxy this very website out to the Internet. All of it runs on my first home server on TrueNAS Scale, so the site you're reading is self-hosted on my own hardware.
Photography
A few years back I decided to take what had been a casual hobby a bit more seriously. I bought a camera and started shooting, didn't learn much at first, but kept making progress. The long version lives in the photography journey.
Gaming
Yes, I'm a 'hardcore' gamer and have been for most of my life. I can't say that will change any time soon. I could go on, but that's too long for a landing page, so the gaming side has its own corner.
